VIBE 2026 CONNECTS THE INTERIOR AND CONSTRUCTION ECOSYSTEM

Vietnam Interior & Build Expo - VIBE 2026 took place from September 30 to October 3, 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA) in cooperation with the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), the exhibition brought together businesses operating across architecture, interior design, construction, building materials, manufacturing, and related services.

With more than 700 exhibition booths and an expected attendance of over 15,000 visitors, VIBE 2026 created a professional environment where manufacturers, suppliers, designers, contractors, buyers, and service providers could meet and exchange information. The 2026 theme, Next in Space: Growth in Motion, reflected the continued development of Vietnam’s interior and construction industries as well as the increasing connection between products, materials, technology, and business networks.

For IDC, VIBE 2026 offered more than an opportunity to observe new products and industry trends. The event provided direct access to a diverse network of companies within Vietnam’s manufacturing ecosystem. This allowed IDC to gain a broader understanding of supplier capabilities, production solutions, and potential areas of cooperation that could support future sourcing projects.

IDC STRENGTHENS CONNECTIONS WITH BUSINESSES AND MANUFACTURERS

During the exhibition, IDC met representatives from companies operating in interior products, building materials, manufacturing, construction, and related sectors. Through these discussions, IDC exchanged market information, introduced its sourcing capabilities, and explored opportunities for future collaboration.

For international sourcing, identifying a potential manufacturer is only the first step. A suitable supplier must also be able to meet requirements related to production capacity, quality, materials, pricing, customization, lead time, and communication. Direct interaction allows these capabilities to be understood more clearly than through online information alone.

Participation in industry exhibitions therefore supports IDC in continuously expanding and developing its supplier network. A manufacturer identified during VIBE 2026 may not immediately become part of a sourcing project, but the relationship and information collected can become valuable when future customer requirements arise.

EXPLORING SOURCING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH INDUSTRY INSIGHTS

VIBE 2026 also provided IDC with valuable insight into the development of Vietnam’s interior, construction, materials, and manufacturing industries. Understanding the market is important in sourcing because supplier selection involves more than simply comparing products or prices.

The exhibition featured companies with different capabilities, ranging from finished-product manufacturers to material suppliers, technology providers, component producers, and supporting services. This diversity allowed IDC to observe a broad range of manufacturing resources and identify potential capabilities that could support future sourcing requirements.

In many cases, international buyers are not looking for an existing product but for a manufacturer capable of developing a customized solution. Factors such as machinery, materials expertise, product development capability, production processes, and manufacturing scale can therefore be just as important as the supplier’s existing product portfolio.

CONNECTING VIETNAMESE MANUFACTURERS WITH INTERNATIONAL BUSINESSES

IDC’s participation in VIBE 2026 reflects the company’s continued focus on connecting Vietnamese manufacturers with international businesses. Vietnam has developed a diverse manufacturing ecosystem across industries such as furniture, construction materials, textiles, footwear, household products, and industrial goods, creating significant opportunities for international sourcing.

However, identifying the right manufacturing partner can be challenging. International buyers must consider production capability, quality standards, customization, communication, delivery requirements, and long-term reliability before establishing cooperation with a supplier.

IDC supports this process through services including supplier search, factory evaluation, product development, quality control, and connections with relevant logistics and business partners. The objective is to help clients identify suppliers that are suitable for their specific sourcing requirements rather than simply providing a list of manufacturers.

Participation in exhibitions such as VIBE 2026 helps IDC continuously develop this capability. Direct interaction with manufacturers provides current information about production capacity, materials, technology, and new product categories. It also enables IDC to build relationships that may support future sourcing and manufacturing projects.
